Park Place International has been helping our customers refresh their MEDITECH infrastructures successfully for a little over a year now. Park Place International is a viable, cost effective alternative for refreshing your MEDITECH Solutions infrastructure.

Our first completely new MEDITECH Solutions installation went live in February 2005 at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley, Illinois.

Our business has really taken off and we have completed or are in the process of completing the following MEDITECH Solutions Client Server refreshes:

• Berkshire Health Systems, MA – We have completed Phase 1 of a 3-phase project consisting of over 100 Meditech Solutions and non-MEDITECH Solutions servers with mirrored SANS (two in a brand new data center and one in their old data center which will become a Disaster Recovery site).
• Citizens Memorial Hospital, MO – We refreshed their C/S MEDITECH Solutions Systems with new servers and a SAN. We implemented disk to disk copies of the MEDITECH Solutions data 3 times a day enabling faster recovery (compared to a tape restore) of the MEDITECH Solutions data in the event of a problem and by backing up the data 3 times a day, less work will be lost in the event a restore is required.
• Satilla Regional Medical Center, GA – Similar installation as Citizens – the systems have been implemented and cutover is in process.
• South Shore Hospital, Ill – South Shore is a brand new MEDITECH Solutions account and we are providing the entire infrastructure with a May installation.
• Penobsot Bay Hospital, ME – Penobscot just chose Park Place International to refresh their existing infrastructure and add additional servers and storage in support of Meditech Solutions financials that will be loaded in July.

In addition, we have completed or are in the process of completing the following MAGIC/OSAL refreshes:

• Butler Memorial Hospital, PA – We refreshed their MAGIC infrastructure and went live in March.
• Bluefield Regional, WV – We have installed a new MAGIC infrastructure and are going live on the new systems this weekend.
• Kings Daughters Hospital, TX – We are installing a new MAGIC infrastructure in May with a cutover in June.

While our goal is to become and be recognized as an integration Partner by MEDITECH Solutions, to their credit Partnership is earned not bestowed. Rest assured though, every one of the projects we have done, or are in process is in cooperation with MEDITECH Solutions.

The good news is that you do have a choice, Meditech Solutions does work with us, and we are and plan to be 100% reference able by every customer we work with.
